About the project

Since 2024, I’ve been the content lead for Cinemapp, with a main focus on tracking content across all streaming services active in Belgium.

What’s available where?

To gather this content, I wrote scripts that run every night to check which new titles were added to platforms like Disney+, Netflix, Mubi, … and of course, which ones are still available.

This makes it easy for film and series fans to keep track of which platforms are worth subscribing to in the coming weeks — or where the hell you can still find something these days.

Enriching the content

To enrich the content, I built a Chrome extension that helps with lookups. Fun fact: Prime Video dumps an absurd amount of new titles every day. Every day, I go through the list of unknown additions to internally link each title to sources like IMDb.

And for my two-day trip to Zen Browser, I quickly ported the extension into a Firefox add-on.

Naturally, this extension and add-on are not publicly available.
